How to get your Camera to work in CW2
When the above Image appears make sure "Allow" is checked.
How to get your Camera to work in Linux
ls -al /dev | grep "video"
No results indicates the system does not see any cameras.
All that is needed now is to make your account a member of the same group
as the video group displayed from the above command.
If you want to use the Microphone you will also need to be a member of the audio group.
After you have assigned your account to the groups
The same instructions for Windows will work in Linux
Solving problems with your cam.
Problem: You do not see the Flash Screen when you start the browser.
Usually this indicates the system does not see the Camera.
But you might have one other issue.
Right Click in the Chat Area and select the Settings Option
Make sure "Remember" is not selected and "Allow" is Selected
The Flash Setting is "Allow" but you still do not see your Camera
Right Click in the Chat Area and select the Settings Option
select your Camera ( 5th icon from the left )
Remember if you have a Multi Camera program running,
you need to select it as the Camera to use.
